Good afternoon,teachers. It’s my great pleasure to be here sharing my teaching ideas I’ll begin the lesson from the following four parts:
Analyzing teaching material
The teaching methods
The studying methods
The teaching proceres
and while presenting these parts I will do the blackboard writing properly. Ok now I am going to start from the first part “Analyzing teaching material”
This unit is about It is made up of paragraphs.
The teaching aim of this lesson is to help students to understand and master the words, phrases and sentence patterns on the basis of understanding the text.
The ability aim is to improve the students’ organizing and using skills of English and to retell the whole text in their own words.
The emotional aim is to help students understand and to develop students’ sense of cooperative learning.
Then the teaching key points is to help the students get a general idea of the whole
And the teaching difficult points is to make students use their own words to express
According to the analysis above, I’ll try my best to carry out the following theories while dealing with this lesson:
To make students the real masters of the class while I just act as a director.
To combine the language structure with the language functions.
And to make students receive some moral ecation while they are learning language. In order to achieve my goal, I will use the following teaching methods:
The first teaching method I will use is communicative approach, since language is used for communication. Communicative approach is learner-centered and emphasizes communication and real-life situations.
The second teaching method I would like to use is task-based approach. A task resembles activities which our students or other people carry out in everyday life.
Learners should be given opportunities to reflect on what they have learned and how well they are doing.
The third teaching method I want to use is computer assisted language teaching.
Computer plays an important role to make the materials attractive. It can also help the learners to understand the language and then proce comprehensible output.
And in order to practice my teaching methods better, the following teaching aids will be used:
A projector, a tape recorder, multimedia and of course the blackboard.
And then, I would like to talk about the studying methods. As students are poor i cooperative learning skill, many students are not active in English class, and even some of them don’t like English. Therefore, I will have the students learn English in a much more relaxed atmosphere. The learning process of students is from seeing, thinking, and speaking. So, to make the students get the knowledge actively, cooperative learning and task-based learning will be used.
Next, I will talk about the teaching procere. To train the students’ ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing, I have designed the following steps.
Step 1 Lead-in
At the very beginning of the class, I will make the students have a free talk about and then discuss the questions in pre-reading on page . The purpose of this step is to arouse the students’ learning interest. After a discussion about the questions, the students will be eager to know something about and it’s the very time to naturally lead the class into
Step 2 Listening comprehensions
In this step, I will write several questions before listening to the text:
And then I will make the students answer the questions after listening to the tape. The purpose of this step is to train and improve the students’ listening ability .
Step 3 skimming and scanning
In this step, I will give the students two tasks . The first task is to get the general idea, the task is to develop the students’ reading skill by making prediction and to encourage the students to express their own thoughts in English. The second task is to get the main idea of each paragraph. I will divide the whole class into several groups to skim the whole text and get the main idea of each paragraph. The purpose of this task is to improve the students’ fast reading skill and cooperate with each other.And then guide Ss to read the material carefully and take some important notes, then answer the following questions in P.
Step 4 Retelling the passage
Language is learned by communicating. It’s my job to creat an atmosphere for students to use the language. The students discuss in their group and then choose a reporter to share to the whole class.
Step 5 Consolidation
In this activity, I will ask some students to read each paragraph, and then do the exercise following the text.
Step 6 make a summary
I will go through the important points and difficult points of this lesson with the students once again. And of course, the language points on the blackboard will be mentioned as well.

1. Read the passage as frequently as you can
2. Find out some words and sentences you think are beautiful and recite them.
Purpose of my design: Homework is so important and necessary for to master the knowledge they learned after class. It will check whether the Ss achieve the teaching aims.

Good morning, professors, it’s my great pleasure to be here sharing my lessons with you. The content of the lesson is Senior English for China Student’s Book 2 Unit 5 Music. I’ll begin the lesson from the following five parts, the teaching material, the teaching methods, the studying methods, the teaching procere and blackboard design. First, let me talk about the teaching material.
Firstly,let me introce the teaching material. This unit is to introce to us different types of band. The reading passage is the center of this unit. It is made up of 4 paragraphs, that is, many people want to be famous as singers or musicians, form a band, Monkees began as a TV show and they became even more popular than the Beatles. The text is the most important teaching material in this lesson, which extends the main topic “music” and contains most of the vocabulary and grammar points that students should learn in this unit.
Secondly, I want to tell something about the students. Although the students have the basic abilities of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, they still need many opportunities to practice what they have learned, to express their ideas, feelings, and experience and to develop their autonomous learning ability and cooperative learning ability Thirdly, I’d like to talk about teaching aims and demands
1 Knowledge aims:
(1)to help students to understand and master the words, phrases and sentence patterns.
(2)to know some basic information about music
2 Ability aims:
(1) To improve the students’ organizing and using skills of English as the second language
(2) To understand the main idea, to scan for the needed information and to grasp the details
3 Emotional aims:
(1) Help students understand different type of music and how to form a band
(2) Develop students’ sense of cooperative learning
Fourthly, teaching key points is
1. To help the students get a general idea of the whole passage, and some detailed information and language points as well.
2. To understand how Monkees formed, developed and succeed. Teaching difficult points is

According to the analysis above, I’ll try to use the following theories to make students the real master of the class while the teacher myself the director.

Step One Lead-in
“Interest is the best teacher.” Therefore, at the very beginning of the class, I should spark the students’ mind to focus on the centre topic “the band”. I’ll play some different type of music to attract their attention and then bring some questions.
Question:
What kind of music they like?
Which band they know best?
The answers must relate to band. After this, the students will be eager to know something about band and this is the very time to naturally lead the class into Step 2
Step 2 Reading for information:
skimming and scanning In this step, I use Task-based Language Teaching method, which can give students a clear and specific purpose while skimming and scanning the context.
Task 1 General idea
The students will be asked to just glance at the title and the pictures of the passage, and then guess what they will read in the text. And they’ll be divided into groups of four to have a discussion.
The purpose is to inspire the students to read actively, not passively. In addition, the task is to develop the students’ reading skill by making prediction and to encourage the students to express their thoughts in English and cooperate with each other.
Task 2 Main idea of each paragraph
Cooperative learning can raise the students’ interest and create an atmosphere of achievement. Based on this theory, I divide the whole class into 4 groups to skim the whole text and get the main idea of each paragraph.
Step 3 Reading for comprehension
The purpose of reading is to get the correct and useful information. Students should not only have a high speed of reading but also have a correct understanding of details. Therefore the following practices on Page 35 can help check the situation.
Step 4 Solving difficult language problems through reading
It’s important for language learners to learn important rules of grammar and use these rules to solve problems in reality. In the previous process of reading, the students must come across some difficult language obstacles, so it’s necessary for us to discuss and explain. This period of time belongs to students. They can ask any questions they come across in the process of learning. I’ll explain the questions and difficulties. The purpose of this is improving the students “questioning spirit” and dealing with the difficulties.
Step 5 Consolidation
Language is learnt by communicating. It is my job to create an atmosphere for students to use the language. Here I design 2 activities 1 Reading for comprehension
I’ll ask 4 students to read each paragraph, and then do the exercise following the text. I think it’s a good way to review what they have learned.
2 Discussion
During making discussion, the students will deepen their understanding of the main idea of the passage.
a. Why Monkees can be successful? Give reasons.
b. What’s the most important thing for a successful band? Why? Step 6 Homework
Ask the students to write down sth about their favorite singers, band or music and list the reasons. The assignment enables the students to search various information resources, which can widen their view and continue to inspire their enthusiasm of learning.

(一)教材概述:
本套教材在保留SEFC基础上,根据当前教改精神而进行重新编写,它较好地衔接了已实施三年的初中义务教育教材,体现了“中小学英语教学一条__”的设想。本单元围绕 Life in the future(未来的生活)这一主题开展听、说、读、写多种教学活动。随着人类文明的进步,未来社会人们的生活方式将如何发展,人们的生活究竟是什么样的情形,这是一个非常贴近生活、具有时代性、可挖掘性的教学主题。语言素材涉及人类生存方式的不断演变,具有典型的时代气息,有利于学生了解生活,展开想象。素材选择兼顾学生的'知识面,已有词汇、生活经历等,体现了教材编写的"以学生为中心",及"听说,读写跟上"的教学理念。
(二)教学目标:
理论依据:《新课程标准》(实验稿)
根据《新课程标准》(实验稿)关于总目标的具体描述,结合高二学生实际和教材内容,我们分语言知识、语言技能、学习策略、情感态度、四个方面制定相应教学目标:
(1)语言知识:
单词:学习掌握一些有关生活的词汇,如: prediction,contemporary,cash,purchase,reform,catch a glimpse of , keep in touch with, pay attention to, in store等。
功能:学习掌握一些用于讨论、评价生活的结构句式,如:
What will life be like in the future?
What kinds of jobs will they have?

语法:学习、掌握关系副词when,where,why、 how引导的名词性从句及关系代词和连词引导的名词性从句。
(2) 语言技能:
听:学生训练集中注意、抓疑问词线索、捕捉特定信息的能力。
读:获取文章中所给出的有关未来生活变化的相关信息,且进行Scanning, skimming, careful reading, generalization; inference等阅读微技能训练。
写:设想自己刚从3000年旅游回来,告诉他(她)你的这次旅行的所见所闻。教材列出了提纲和问题,供学生参考,为学生写作的内容和方法做指导。
(3) 学习策略:学生在一定程度上形成自主学习,有效交际、信息处理、英语思维能力。

二、 教学方法与教材处理
上述教学目标的确定是基于"第二语言习得论"和"整体语言教学理论",其中渗透当前课程改革的一些理念。为达成上述教学目标,我们将运用任务型教学途径,初步设计"P—T—P"自主学习立体模式:(Pre-task—Task-cycle—Post-task)。
(1)Pre-task:引入话题,激活学生知识网络和扫清词汇障碍,明确学习任务和任务完成的步骤,激发学习英语兴趣。
学生:认知处于主动状态,有完成任务的强烈愿望。
教师:学习的组织者、促进者;善导、激趣的过程。
(2)Task-cycle:任务的完成过程。
学生:用英语做事,运用体验、参与、合作、实践、交流、探究等方式进行自主学习的过程,发展听、说、读、写综合英语技能。
教师:指导者、帮助者、参与者、合作者的角色;引思的过程。
(3)Post-task:展示成果,交流成果的过程。
学生:体验成功和喜税,自我评价、小组评价、认识自己、树立自信、反思自己、调控自己。
老师:评价者、总结者;总结教学中的成功与不足;发现学生学习中的问题与不足;精讲过程。
总体:学生愿学——乐学——惯学——论学过程。

三、 教学程序

"听力"(Listening)部分是在"热身"活动的基础上,以听力训练形式进一步帮助学生了解马丁·路德·金,听力中节选了的"I HAVE A DREAM"的部分句子。练习包括四个项目,设计多样,生动有趣。第四题有利于培养学生用英语进行总结概括自己思想的能力。

各位评委老师,上午好,我是3号考生,今天我说课的内容是外研版高二必修5 Carnival 的Reading 部分The magic of the mask. 我计划用两课时来完成本部分的教学,用一课时来读懂课文,一课时处理语言点,下面我要说的是对第一课时的安排与处理。
一. 教学背景
教学对象是高二普班学生,英语基础知识和基本技能都是一般水平,学生对英语学习兴趣不浓,因此,以调动学生的学习兴趣,学生主动学习为目标。
二.教材分析
(一)教学内容的地位与作用
本课以“Carnival”为话题,模块在Introction部分通过四个说的活动引入了有关西方节日的词汇,为Reading部分The magic of the mask 的学习做好了词汇与情感的铺垫。
本节阅读课是本模块的主要内容,本文围绕carnival这一主题,主要通过威尼斯这一国家的狂欢节,来使学生认识西方国家的节日及其特点。我设计的这节课主要是利用多媒体通过图片及其庆祝场面向大家展示这一节日。在对其有所了解的情况下,在带领学生共同学习课文,通过对西方节日身临其境的感受,学生理解课文较轻松较容易。利用网络资源使学生的`学习活动变得多元化,学生更乐于自主学习,主动思考,而达到了乐于协作,勇于创新的学习效果。
(二)教学目标分析 (Teaching goals)
根据《新课标》总目标的描述和教学大纲的要求,结合本课的内容和学生实际情况,我确定了以下教学目标:
1.知识与能力目标:
1)训练学生的阅读技巧,提高学生组织与分析文章的阅读能力;
2)在阅读中通过语境识别新词汇并推断其意思。
2. 过程与方法:培养学生独立阅读的能力,通过自主学习,协作学习来获取信息和处理信息的能力

教学重点:
1)训练学生的阅读技巧(包括速读、略读、查读等);
2)理解有关狂欢节的描述、起源和历史沿革。

三. 说教法(Teaching Methods)
新课标倡导的任务型教学,点拨启发式的教学,借助多媒体展开教学活动。本节课我本着“教师主导,学生主体,师生互动”的原则,分别设计了问答题、讨论题,和口头表述的任务。让学生在我的引导下,积极去讨论,去发现,去归纳文章的内容和发掘内涵。从而实现对文章的整体理解,改变过去只注重语言点,而忽略文章内容的传统教法。
四.说学法(Learning Methods)
外语作为工具学科,它的特点就是要听、说、读、写并举。所以,在学习方法上,我注意引导他们,积极参加讨论,敢于动口,同时,掌握一些基本的阅读技巧,培养学生善于运用所学知识来分析和解决问题的能力;通过小组形式完成多种活动,培养探究和合作意识与能力。

Step1 复习导入
设计意图:复习上节课所学的内容,为本节课的学习做铺垫。既复习了上节课涉及到的词汇,又很自然地进入到今天主要谈论的话题。图片的展示能更直观地让学生获取信息。准备工作能为整个项目的学习创造气愤、激发兴趣以及指出思维方向,更重要的是,它能训练联想、对比和归纳等认知策略。
Step2:明确目标
教学程序:在电脑屏幕上给出本节课的学习目标。
1. Master the features of Carnival.
2. Analyze and understand the reading material.
3. Guess the meaning of some new words in this passage.
设计意图:给出学生明确的教学目标,使学生能够了解本节课应该学些什么,应该从哪个角度去学习。
Step3: 速读(Skimming)
教学程序:找出每段的主题句
设计意图:训练学生快速阅读能力, 使学生初步感知课文内容,为进一步的阅读理解打下基础。这初步的突破了本节课的一个重点。
Step4: 查读(Scanning)
教学程序:阅读课文的前三段,主要通过design -ask –answer的方法,用小组讨论的形式,同时在电脑屏幕上给出讨论的关键词汇,when, where, what, how。
设计意图:训练学生的查读能力, 小组讨论的活动方式能够提高学生的合作意识,在讨论中共享信息,相互学习。给出关键词汇,学生很容易知道在这部分介绍了节日最基本的信息,when to celebrate, where to origin from, what to do
Step 5 细节理解
教学程序:分别阅读课文四五六段,引导学生对狂欢节进行更进一步的理解。阅读第四段,通过18century三个时间段找出对于戴面具的法律,从men 到 people再到complete ban,戴面具逐渐的被完全禁止,成了一种回忆的;然后给出问题who revived Carnival? When was it revived? 学生从第五段很容易就能找出问题的答案。然后进一步的给学生设置问题。同时在电脑屏幕上给出关键词,time, people, hotel, streets, the main languages, the key. 让学生通过听的形式来了解今天的威尼斯怎么庆祝狂欢节的。
设计意图:通过层层深入,环环相扣的问题加深了学生对文章细节信息的理解。同时这一活动培养学生的合作精神和总结能力。同时使课文内容化繁为简,思路清晰,使学生进一步的了解狂欢节的历史沿革。在此初步的突破了本文的一个难点。

Making friends《交朋友》一文是高二年级的教材中第二单元的第二课。该单元教学要求有三个方面:一是从课文中学会如何对待朋友如何同朋友交往,二是了解友谊在人生中的重要意义,三是通过友谊这一主题使学生体会到语言文字的魅力。
因此,在对Making Friends的教学过程中应该着力于引导学生概括出文章的要点,提取精要。应该好好地让学生品读、欣赏,从中体会思想感情。这也正好体现了新大纲中要求的“要致力于学生素养和整体能力的提高,重视积累、感悟和熏陶,重视语言运用能力。

四、教学方法与教学手段
新课标大力提倡教师是课堂的主导,而学生是课堂的主体。在授课中,引导学生看、读、议,调动他们的多种感官,主动参与学习。同时,以课内知识为触发点,从课内延伸到课外,力求学以致用,丰富学生的知识和生活的积累。具体采用以下教学方法:
1、跳读法:文章篇幅比较长,但是比较浅白,可以用来训练学生阅读的速度,同时找不熟知的生词和短语。语言学家David Wilkins指出,没有语法几乎不能交流思想,没有词汇根本不能交流思量,所以在对一篇文章进行理解之前,疏通生词难词是比不可少的一个步骤。
2、朗读法:语言要通过反复诵读才能品出其中的韵味,让学生读出自己喜欢的句子,加深印象和理解。将书面语言有声化是最基本的阅读技能。朗读过程中学生入于眼、出于口、闻于耳、专于心,能直接感知和体味文章内容;更能加速对文章的理解。
3、讨论法:组织学生讨论,鼓励学生发表对于事情的观点和看法。讨论不仅培养学生的自主能力,同时也锻炼了学生的口头表达能力。
4、互动法:现代教育理论认为学习是学习者在其他学习伙伴的帮助下完成的主动意义建构。教师要确立以合作讨论学习为主要形式的课堂教学组织策略。如何让每个学生都有不同的尝试体验,参与课堂教学,小组合作是有效的组织形式。
5、运用多媒体教学手段:以直观的欣赏或聆听,激发学生学习兴趣。

①播放配乐朗读Forever Friends。听之前引导学生关注自己印象最深的一句句子。
②请学生反馈感受。各抒己见。
③总结:好朋友之于我们的人生是如此重要,我们又如何能够交到这样的好朋友。从而引出课文学习。
(三)明确教学目标。承上启下,让学生了解本堂课所要达成的目标。一是从课文中学会如何对待朋友如何同朋友交往,二是了解友谊在人生中的重要意义,三是通过友谊这一主题使学生体会到语言文字的魅力。
(四)研读学习课文的具体流程
1、解决预习时所产生的问题,梳理单词短语。
